FILLING FORMS OR HOW TO ADAPT YOURSELF TO CIVILIZED AND UNDERSTANDABLE WAYS OF BEING

I asked a simple question: Could you all please fill in this form?


And all of them did it quite well




After having filled the forms, we had a discussion... What is it to be an adult? What is it to be a man? What is it to be Dutch? Can we be reduced to these small categories? When filling forms, do we actually say what we think or what they want us to say?

Then I asked them to fill in the forms again:

The first one said he wouldn't change anything.

The second one said he would only change his profession. So, instead of saying he is an actor, he would say he is still studying in order to become an actor.

The third one filled in the form in a totally different way (also, he added he never fills in forms in the same way):
